On April 5-7, 2017, the 3rd International Symposium “Awareness Raising and Education on Biosafety and Biosecurity in Ukraine” was held at the Kyiv House of Scientists of the NAS of Ukraine. This event visited the director of the IVM, corresponding member of the NAAS S. Nychyk and Academician-Secretary of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences, corresponding member of the NAAS M. Mandygra. The symposium was opened by the director of the Palladin Institute of Biochemistry of the NAS of Ukraine, academician of NAMS of Ukraine and NAS of Ukraine S. Komisarenko and the representative of the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain James Harrison.
