The scientific and practical seminar on the topic «Current state of the anthrax problem in Ukraine» was held at the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine on May 11, 2018. Scientists, veterinarians and post-graduate students of the IVM, NULES of Ukraine, State Scientific-Control Institute of Biotechnology and strains of microorganisms and Bila Tserkva NAU attended the event. There was a discussion among the researchers of the IVM concerning the providing of a stable epidemiological situation in Ukraine regarding anthrax infection and considered modern approaches to assess the risks of outbreaks and modeling the ecological niche of the pathogen.
