Fields of research:

• epizootology study of viral diseases of domestic and wild pigs (classical swine, African swine reproductive and respiratory syndrome pigs circovirus infection, Teschen disease, Aujeszky’s disease)
• Development of diagnostic tools viral diseases of pigs using an enzyme immunoassay, polymerase chain reaction, immunofluorescence, immunoperoxidase test and the like.

Services:

• epizootic examination of pig farms, correction and optimization of circuits specific preventive and therapeutic measures to provide recommendations for the improvement of veterinary-sanitary condition of the economy;
• serological and virological diagnosis of Aujeszky’s disease using a virus neutralization reaction;
• serological and virological diagnosis of classical swine fever immunoperoxidase test;
• serological and virological diagnosis of reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus immunoperoxidase test;
• serological and virological diagnosis of infection of pigs tsirkovirusnoi immunoperoxidase test;
• developed a set of “specific immunoglobulins FITC-immunofluorescence for the diagnosis of African swine fever”, which is now undergoing interdepartmental commission trials.
