On May 18, 2018 the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences celebrated the Day of the National Embroidered Shirt, or Vyshyvanka. By the good tradition, there was an exhibition of ancient household items, icons, paintings, embroidered shirts made personally. All the exhibits were presented by the staff of the Institute.
The exhibition was opened with welcoming words by the director of the Institute Prof. Nychyk Sergey and chairman of the organization of the trade union of the Institute Vasianovych Olga.
Also, each laboratory staff competed in culinary skills treating colleagues with a variety of delicious food.
The jury formed of the delegates from each lab evaluated the presentation of both laboratories and the personal contribution of individuals, and selected winners who were awarded with cash prizes.
