TAIEX REGIONAL WORKSHOP ON AFRICAN SWINE FEWER

In February 12-14, 2018 representatives of the IVM NAAS are attending TAIEX Regional Workshop on African Swine Fewer organized in co-operation with the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, National Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Ukraine, Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University.

The aim of this regional workshop is an exchange of experiences in field on the prevention and elimination of ASF. For this purpose, experts from Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Moldova and Belarus have been invited as speakers to share their experience. Dr. of Science in veterinary field Sytuk Mykola presented talk on ASF current situation and proposed eradication measures regarding this disease in Ukraine, and PhD Muzykina Larysa presented data on designed by IVM NAAS qRT-PCR test-kits for ASFV diagnosis that will be propose for use in diagnostic laboratories in Ukraine.
