The scientific seminar “Bacteriological monitoring of anaerobic infections and specific means for biorisks prevention in Ukraine” was held on the basis of the V. Ryzhenko laboratory of anaerobic infections of the IVM NAAS in April 19, 2018.
The seminar highlighted the following issues: bacteriological monitoring of botulism as one of anaerobic infections, diagnostic features of anaerobic infections, the advisability of antibiotics use at anaerobic infections compared to specific prevention against mixed anaerobic infections, the use of metal nanoparticles as stimulants of the organism’s immune system at the development of vaccine preparations.
The seminar was attended by scientists of IVM, representatives of Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University (Associate Professor I.A. Rublenko), State Research Institute for Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise (Deputy Director, PhD in Veterinary Sciences A.T. Garkavenko, PhD in Veterinary Sciences, Senior Researcher E.V. Lozhkina, junior scientist A.L. Kravtsova, A.A. Marchuk, A.A. Grebennyk, S.N. Lytvynenko, V.V. Zagorovska) and the F.D. Ovcharenko Institute of Biocolloidal Chemistry (PhD in Biological Sciences, Senior Researcher S.M. Dybkova, L.S. Reznichenko, T.G. Gruzina).
